Vietnam has been witnessing a spectacular economic growth and development since the reform policy in mid-80s. The Country has been effectively integrating into the world economy. The economy’s openness level is reflected though the fact that the total turnover of trade (over 400 billion USD of imports and exports combined) is double the GDP.
The GDP per capita is steadily increasing, reaches over USD 2,300 at present. The mid-income population is quickly increasing. The deep economic integration is seen by the number of Free Trade Agreements Vietnam has engaged so far-12 FTAs are already effective and additional 4 FTAs in the pipeline.
Vietnam has been an attractive destination for foreign investment. Total accumulated foreign direct investment (FDI) until mid-2018 has reached over 300 billion USD. The year 2017 alone attracted nearly 36 billion USD of FDI.
Together with the existing business community, the promotion and development of start-ups in Vietnam is admirable, particularly during the recent years.
Further more, the business environment is continuously improving and the costs of running business is on reduction. The legal framework is in the enhancement process towards building a business environment of equality and transparency.
The development of human capital has always been at the center of attention and it is considered as a key factor and catalyst for long-term and sustainable development.
As Industries 4.0 is taking off in Vietnam and the country’s determination to maintain growth momentum, more and more opportunities are open up for foreign and domestic business, for multinationals and start-ups. FIDAFIELD is therefore established towards the mission to cooperate with both foreign and domestic companies for their success in doing business in Vietnam, and further expand their operations and success to the regional and global markets.
